2 | Reliability | The likelihood that a product, system, or process will perform its intended function for a specific period of time and operate in a defined environment without failure. The main characteristics of a reliable product are the reliability, the expected function, the degree of compliance, service life, and operating conditions (temperature, speed, pressure, and so on). |
3 | Machine learning | It is a branch of artificial intelligence (AI) that uses different methods for pattern recognition. It uses statistical methods to improve the performance of an algorithm in identifying data patterns. In computer science, machine learning is a variant of traditional programming, in which a machine can learn from the data independently and without explicit instructions. |
4 | Deep learning | It is a set of techniques based on artificial neural networks organized in different layers. Source: Polytechnic University of Milan |
5 | Supervised learning | It instructs a neural network to allow it to automatically make predictions based on a set of ideal examples (targets). For each input there is an output. This pair ... |
