I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
We have placed State and Gender, two discrete dimensions, into the rows and columns of our table. However, this still leaves the table itself empty. We can only see the Abc placeholder text. When we place Frequency, a continuous measure, onto Text, Tableau fills our table with that measure, and automatically aggregates it along the dimensions we placed in rows and columns.
