I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
By the end of the preparation, you should have running an Matillion ETL EC2 instance within your account. In addition, you should configure it to the Redshift instance, which we used in Chapter 10, Tableau for Big Data. Tableau will connect to the Redshift. We will use tabcmd for the following tasks:
- Triggering a refresh of Tableau Extract at the end of ETL
- Triggering an export of Tableau Workbook in order to generate a PDF and export to S3
