I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Check Your Mac for Compatibility
All currently shipping Macs, as well as most models introduced within the past five years or so, can run Sequoia. Sadly, Sequoia does drop support for some Mac models that were able to run macOS 14 Sonoma. The next few pages will help you verify that your hardware is fully compatible with Sequoia.
Model Support
Macs that can run Sequoia include the following:
iMac (2019 or newer)
iMac Pro
MacBook Air (2020 or newer)
MacBook Pro (2018 or newer)
Mac mini (2018 or newer)
Mac Pro (2019 or newer)
Mac Studio
Unfortunately, that excludes the 2018 and 2019 MacBook Air models, which were able to run Sonoma but can go no further.
