When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Improve Videoconferencing
Sequoia introduces two new features related to videoconferencing: a presenter preview for use when sharing your screen, and an option to replace your actual background with a photo, gradient, or other pattern. They’re available to anyone who uses FaceTime, Zoom, Slack, or other apps that permit you to have live, face-to-face conversations online.
Some third-party apps already offer similar features—for example, Zoom has both, while Slack has the preview option. If you’re already accustomed to those existing features, you may want to keep using them and ignore the new Sequoia features. Then again, it may be worth trying Apple’s versions to see whether you prefer those effects.
