When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Bill McNabb is the former chairman and CEO of Vanguard, one of the world’s largest investment management companies. He joined Vanguard in 1986 and became CEO in 2008 and chairman in 2010. He retired as CEO in 2017 and as chairman in 2018. During his tenure as chief executive, Vanguard’s assets under management more than quadrupled to $4.4 trillion. McNabb has been an advocate for good corporate governance and responsible long-term investing through leadership roles with organizations such as Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP) and the Investment Company Institute.
