You can use the Library to play through
your symbols so you can better identify
them. Sometimes, symbols do not
include any graphics on the first frame.
For example, a picture that fades in is
invisible on the Stage and does not
show a preview in the Library. Or, you
may have a sound symbol that does not
have a very descriptive name.
PREVIEW A SYMBOL IN THE
LIBRARY
1 Open the Library panel.
2 Click the symbol you want to
preview.

buttons appear here.
Note: If you do not have a symbol that has
multiple frames, see Chapter 9 to learn about
creating an animation.
