Hole in One!
Richard was director of human resources at the Metropolitan Insurance Company in Palooza, Minnesota. Similar to many of his colleagues, Rich was an avid golfer. Therefore, when the company's training series regarding the annual guideline updates for writing homeowner and automobile insurance policies were announced as “hitting a hole in one!,” it caught his attention.
To his great pleasure, the entire session wove the golf theme into the training examples and illustrations for the agents to use with their clients. Not only did it make the training much more enjoyable but also he knew he retained the information much better than in the past.
