I might as well go ahead and relate this story first of all, because you’ll hear the name Richard Williams peppered throughout this book. His is not exactly a household name like Walt Disney, Chuck Jones, or even the now-familiar Tex Avery, but he’s won three Academy Awards, the most recent for a Special Achievement in his creation of the title character from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a Disney/Amblin production on which he served as director of animation. 1997.
