A Few Words on Acting
The late, great Chuck Jones is the cartoon director best known for his definition of an animator: an actor with a pencil.
And that’s very true.
Every shape we draw, every muscle we bulge, every flip of the hair or curl of an index finger, every subtle squish of flesh or rubber ball that contacts a hard, flat surface… all that is channeled from our brain, down our arm, into the tip of our pencil or digitizing stylus, and translates into acting.
