Starting the Dare phase makes me think of one of my favorite songs, Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” (the official video is on YouTube if you’re not familiar with it). Eminem sings unforgettably about having a one-shot moment in which you’re given the opportunity to “seize everything you ever wanted.”
In this chapter I want to make sure that when “one-shot” moments are in front of you, you’ll make the bold moves to seize them. You’re not going to wait another day to make your business plan “perfect.” You’re not going to simply think about asking for the next promotion without taking action.
