It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Quasi-Experimental Methods
Equipped with our tools and with the first solutions to assess causality, we are now already far from the valley of despair. Yet, the road to causality is not straight, nor simple. At the end of the last chapter, we took a small step back when we saw the limitations of randomized experiments: they are often impossible or unethical to carry out.
This is exactly why studying causal inference matters. The quest for causality is never trivial; it is full of obstacles. But that is also what makes it rewarding and useful. We haven’t said our last words. There is another set of methods, complementary to randomized experiments, that often helps us overcome these limitations: quasi-experimental methods.
