In the third part, we will climb the slope of enlightenment by discovering the methods to measure causal effects. First, we will learn how to qualitatively assess causal claims in real time using a structured framework, the Causal Mindset. Then, we will explore how to measure a causal effect when we can control treatment allocation through randomized experiments, and finally, how to infer causality when we cannot control treatment allocation and must rely on observational data (quasi-experimental methods). We will examine the strengths and weaknesses of all these methods.
