When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Vinit Sharma (Berkshire, UK) is a cloud solutions architect at Microsoft focusing on the Microsoft data platform and artificial intelligence. Before his current role, he was a principal technical architect in a global position for advanced analytics at SAS Institute, specializing in a solution suite called Demand‐Driven Planning and Optimization for supply chain optimization. Vinit has an MBA, a postgraduate diploma in management, and two degrees in business administration (one from the UK and one from Germany). In addition to these academic qualifications, he also has or held many industry qualifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VCP, MCDBA, MCTS, OCP Developer, MCSE, BEA Administrator, a Chargeback and Activity‐Based Cost Management certification from the IT Financial Management Association (ITFMA), and ITIL Foundation. He has more than 15 years of IT and industry experience working in various roles and fields (e.g., cloud computing, supply chain optimization, SAS, and virtualization ).
