Up to this point our study of game theory has focused on competition between two players. Reflecting on this, a couple of natural questions arise. First, is it possible to successfully study strategic behavior among many players? I mentioned earlier that if we consider more than two players, we’d have to worry about some of them ganging up on others. This leads to the second question: is some strategic behavior actually cooperative to some degree and, if so, how do we study it?
