I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mark Schwartz is a profilic author best known for his bureaucratic classic, MI-CIS-OIT-003. In 2010 he made it through the security gates of a federal office building in Washington, DC, and threatened to stay there until government IT became agile. After seven years he agreed to depart for the public cloud and the government gave him a pile of souvenir plaques.
Under his influence as CIO, US Citizenship and Immigration Services became a model for DevOps, microservices, cloud architectures, and new security models in the government, shrinking their IT release time from eighteen months to less than a day.
