So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As we discussed in the introduction, Cortex-M processors are designed for microcontroller applications. These are characterized by a high degree of integration in a small form factor. Such systems contain relatively small memory and a variety of peripherals to interface IO devices. Unlike the desktop computers and mobile phones, which are designed to run general-purpose applications, microcontrollers are designed to implement specific applications.
