To lead your people, first you must understand them. You must understand what matters to them, what they think, and what they feel. Only then can you lead them for more meaning, happiness, and connectedness.
But there are challenges. First, we don’t see other people as they are, but as distorted through our own perceptions and unconscious biases. And second, they’re not what they say and think, but rather what they experience and feel. Take a moment to test your own unconscious biases.
