I love delivering The Power of Understanding People to my clients in all kinds of industries all around the world. To see the epiphany on the faces of my audience members is incredibly fulfilling. I have received countless e-mails from leaders, sales professionals, and service providers telling me how much the information has enhanced them professionally. Even more gratifying are the numerous correspondences I receive from attendees who have given the assessment to their spouses and benefited from the ensuing conversation.

Within this book, we have learned about the concepts of metacognition and interactive style. You took an assessment to discover the four iconic interactive styles—Romantic, Warrior, Expert, and Mastermind—and how they combine to determine your Hollywood movie character. We learned how to recognize and adjust to each style and apply this information when leading, selling, and servicing each. We even discussed ways to use this information with friends and family. For me, learning this information has enhanced my role as a professional, a husband, a father, and a friend. As an educator, my fondness for sharing it with others is among the most gratifying elements of my life.
