I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I once wrote that we are each blessed by God with a wonderful range of gifts and that for some strange reason mine appears to the ability to observe, write, and teach, coach, and mentor in the world of leadership. What I find fascinating is that for a substantial period of my life I was not as aware of this gift, in the context of leadership, as others. I found it odd that people would ask me to coach them, mentor them, come to me for career advice, for guidance, and once I had offered my thoughts and walked with them for a while ...
