I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER 6 The Travel Photo Essay: A Brief History
Let’s travel back in history to a time soon after the dawn of photography when intrepid travelers realized that they could capture scenes of what they were experiencing on light-sensitized materials as they explored the four corners of the globe. This will help us to strengthen our foundation as we move forward in the present to create dynamic travel photo essays for the future.
While many of the photographers cited below are not “travel photographers” per se, they all share a wanderlust and see or saw the road as an endless source of inspiration.
