16.2.3 Angle of Arrival-Based Measurements

Angle of arrival (AoA) methods are based on the estimation of the

incident angle of the incoming wave at the receiver. As shown in

Fig. 16.1, if angles α, β,andγ are measured using the AoA method,

then the position of the node under test can be accurately estimated

using a simple triangulation algorithm.
