Introduction
The Catalyst 9800 wireless controller brings many improvements with regards to monitoring the wireless network and clients and gives many details that may help you troubleshoot a problem as it is reported. The C9800 also keeps a deep level of always-on logging stored on the box to assist you in troubleshooting after the fact (this capability is discussed more in Chapter 16, “Troubleshooting”). Cisco DNA Center Assurance builds on this and takes network management and monitoring to the next level.
