I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
17.3 LDAP Protocol Data Units
Protocol data units are described using the ASN.1 syntax, and they are transferred using the BER coding subset. LDAP includes the following types of operations (each of them has defined inquiry and reply formats):
bind:Allows authentication information to be exchanged between a client and a server (i.e., user authentication and establishing the session).unbind:Termination of the users session.search:Operation for searching in the DIT.
