The following list includes terms from relevant ConOps, rules, standards, industry guidance, and recognized aviation usage. Definitions for many of these terms are evolving and inconsistent among implementations.

4D:

3D volume (latitude, longitude, altitude) plus time.

acceptable means of compliance:

method satisfying CAA as a means to establish regulatory compliance.

accreditation:

third party attestation (such as by a conformity assessment body) conveying formal demonstration of its competence to undertake specific tasks.

advanced air mobility (AAM):
