So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4. Creating Custom Maps with My Maps
Learn how to create, save, and share custom Google maps.
One of the coolest things about Google Maps is that Google lets anyone create his or her own custom map, overlaid with his or her own personal data. These maps can be accessed from your Google Maps page, or embedded on your own website.
Google calls this functionality My Maps, and it’s fairly easy to use. You can even create group My Maps, where multiple users collaborate to create the custom map.
