Background

CCL’s experience with executive coaching dates back to its beginnings in the early 1970s and its focus on feedback-intensive developmental experiences. By the mid-1980s CCL had developed a coaching and support role that played a significant part in the developmental experiences of CCL clients participating in such programs as LeaderLab® and the Awareness Program for Executive Excellence (APEX)®. The development of that coaching role and CCL’s experience in working with that process now form the kernel of CCL’s Coaching for Results program, which includes Follow-on Coaching as a developmental component.
