So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Organization of the Book
We focus on dealing with the issues of video cataloguing, including video structure
parsing and basic semantic word extraction, especially for movie and teleplay videos.
The main goal is to obtain the structure and basic semantic data, in the hope of using
these data to better serve video automatic cataloguing, indexing, and retrieval. Our
starting point is to provide a fundamental understanding of video structure parsing;
that is, we first discuss the video shot boundary detection, and then do research on
video scene detection. In addition, we also address some basic ideas for semantic
word extraction, including video text recognition, scene recognition, and character ...
