It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

By the end of this book, I want you to be able to build voice applications for both Alexa and the Google Assistant platforms. I want you to understand the code necessary, and I want you to understand how information moves through a request between human and computer. Finally, I want you to understand the principles that provide a strong voice user experience.
To learn all of this, we’ll build a number of voice applications. Therefore, this book is ideal for anyone who wants to learn by doing and who has at least a basic understanding of programming.
