So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Authors
This book was a team effort by the folks at IBM who have been working on designing and building the Web services platform. The lead authors of this book—Sanjiva, Francisco (Paco), Frank, Tony, and Don—wrote parts of the book and coordinated contributions from the others. We’ll start with descriptions of the five lead authors and then talk about the others who contributed.
Sanjiva Weerawarana received a Ph.D. in computer science from Purdue University in 1994. After a few years at Purdue as visiting faculty, he joined IBM Research in 1997, where he is a research staff member in the Component Systems Group and a member of the IBM Academy of Technology.
