6.8 Deploying the Solr application
The deployment of the WebSphere Commerce search solr.war file is a manual process with
provided scripts. We describe this deployment in detail in this chapter.
The WebSphere Commerce FEP2 features enablement generated the relevant property files
for search and placed them on the file system of the WebSphere Commerce machine. To
deploy the search in advanced mode and on a separate remote search machine, the search
