Implementing Corporate Roaming

RUP and Folder Redirection are two technologies that provide enterprises with the ability for users to roam between computers and access their unique, personal, desktop environments with their personal data and settings. Corporate roaming also provides enterprises with flexibility in seating arrangements: Users are not (or need not be) guaranteed the same computer each time they work, such as in a call center where users have no assigned desk or seating and must therefore share computers with other users at different times or on different days.
