It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
付録AUSEメソッド: Linux
本付録は、Linux 派生システムのためのUSEメソッドチェックリストである[Gregg 13d]。USE メソッドは、システムの健全性をチェックするためのメソッドで、よく見られるリソースのボトルネックやエラーを明らかにしていく。「2章 メソドロジ」の「2.5.9 USEメソッド」で説明し、後続の各章（5章、6章、7章、9章、10章）でサポートツールとともに個別のリソースを対象として説明した。
パフォーマンスツールはひんぱんに拡張され、新しいツールが開発されるので、これは出発点であり、アップデートが必要なものだと考えていただきたい。また、USEメソッドを進めやすくすることを目的とした新しい可観測性フレームワークやツールも開発できるはずだ。
