Appendix C. The Thematic Catalog XML Schema

Many of the chapters in this book provide examples that stem from either a “catalog” or an “address” schema. The catalog schema primarily demonstrates simple types and complex types. The address schema primarily demonstrates element types and attribute types. Of course, both schemas include many types, due to the nature of building a schema.

This appendix provides a complete listing for the thematic catalog and address XML schema examples. The following four XML schema documents comprise the two complete XML schema examples:
