The sports photographs and portraits of George Kalinsky (b. 1936) have appeared in Sports Illustrated, People, and Newsweek, and in the pages of many of the books and programs he produced for sports teams and events. For years he was the official photographer at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall and for the New York Mets, and his iconic images of sports teams, boxers, presidents, rock stars, and numerous personalities and performers made him the go-to photographer for the sports and entertainment industry in New York for many years.
