I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Early Years
There are many contenders for the title of “first” or “inventor” in photography. Many of these “photo-alchemists” were working, in separate places, on similar or even identical ideas or methods at the same time. Similarly, many talented designers and inventors are responsible for the cameras, lenses, films, and chemistry that make modern photography possible. They all stood on the shoulders of those who came before them. The history of photography is the story of how all these people and their inventions came together to make photography what it is today.
