So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Staged Installations
Rather than having a single person deploy an RODC, you can perform a staged installation of an RODC that involves two people. In the first stage of the installation, an administrator with domainwide administrative permissions uses the Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard to create an account for the RODC in Active Directory and record all data about the RODC that will be stored in Active Directory, such as its domain controller account name and the site in which it will be placed. The administrator must be a member of the Domain Admins group for the domain in which the RODC will be deployed. The administrator can also specify which users or groups can complete the next stage of the installation.
