Recap of Advanced Charting

We have covered a great deal of information in the previous eight chapters. In Chapter 9 we will recap the information and put all of the pieces together to enhance the level of understanding and ability to fully understand the Advanced Charting system.

1. The reformulated technical indicators of Advanced Charting search for answers to prove that the V is true or false, for both the regular V and the inverted V.

2. M1 tracks the movement of the Vs and will respond accordingly up, down, or flat.

3. M2 and M3 track the movement of M1 and respond accordingly, either going stacked up or stacked down. M1, M2, and M3 define the cycle—either up cycle or down cycle down

4. M4 defines the trend.

5. Extreme highs and lows of a cycle are defined by the upper Bollinger band (UBB) and the lower Bollinger band (LBB).

6. The PSAR alerts when a crossover has occurred on one or more of the lower indicators.

7. The channels are true points of resistance and support.

8. Zones are created as the tic moves between critical points of resistance and support.

9. The lower indicators for Chart 1 track the movement of the tic and M1. Each one searches numerous sources of data to confirm and validate the V.

10. The red or green modified candlestick clearly shows cycles as M1 moves from birth to death.

11. The Bollinger band pinch and flare are critical indicators to forewarn of a potential momentum move of the price tic.
