Learning and Development

The Learning and Development functional area encompasses 15 percent of the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) exam. This functional area has an important bottom-line impact on any employer organization. Keeping employees’ skills and knowledge current is necessary for maintaining the effectiveness of the organization. Further developing high-performing employees can be vital to organizational growth, helping these employees learn to lead through difficult periods of change.
