I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding Structural Footings
If you are going as far as placing structural foundation walls, you might as well continue on and place footings underneath them, right? Luckily, this is not a difficult task.
Before you start adding the structural footings to the plan, you need to acknowledge that, by default, this view is not set up to see any objects that are physically below its level. To correct this, you must alter the view range of this specific plan:
- Make sure you are still in the T.O. Footing plan, and set the Properties list to Floor Plan: T.O. Footing.
- In the Properties dialog box, go to the View Range row and click Edit.
- Set Primary Range Bottom to Unlimited.
- Set View Depth Level to Unlimited, as shown in Figure 8.55.
