When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using View Templates
When you created the furniture plan in the beginning of the chapter, you manipulated the data in the Visibility/Graphics Overrides options to hide furniture in a specific plan. It would be nice to build settings like these into a template so you could simply apply that template to a view the next time the situation arose.
The objective of the next procedure is to create a view template and apply it to another view. Follow these steps:
- In the Project Browser, right-click Level 1 floor plan.
- Select Create View Template from View.
- In the Name dialog, call the template Without Furniture or Casework, and then click OK.
- In the View Templates dialog, Revit allows you to further control the view properties and visibility graphics. ...
