So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating an Interior Rendering
You create an interior rendering almost exactly the same way as an exterior rendering. Of course, you'll definitely use artificial lighting. You'll also use sunlight, to make sure you account for any natural light that comes into the building.
The objective of this procedure is to create an interior lighting scene using a premade 3D perspective of a hallway:
- In the Project Browser, find the 3D view called East Wing Corridor Perspective.
- On the View Control bar, click the Show Rendering Dialog button.
- Set the Quality setting to High.
- Set Resolution to Printer and to 300 DPI.
- Set Lighting Scheme to Interior: Sun And Artificial.
- Set Sun to Sunlight From Top Right.
- Make sure Background Style is set to Color.
