Creating formulas is as simple as typing the equal sign (=) followed by the necessary references, numbers, operators, and functions into the chosen cell and then hitting the Enter/Return key.
If you make mistakes in the formula, OpenOffice.org Calc complains and you can edit the formula directly inside the offending cell or on the Input Line. All you need to do is to place the cursor in the appropriate cell and hit F2.
