I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Certificate authority (CA)
Fabric CA is used to manage identity services to participants including nodes, users, and all members of organizations on the network. It manages the different types of certificates required to run the blockchain. Every transaction that happens in the blockchain must be signed using a certificate. Fabric CA provides the following:
- Registration of identities with roles or integration with an existing LDAP or Active Directory (AD). This compromises the user registry, which is used to fetch the identities of the mentioned roles.
- Issuance of enrolment certificates (ECerts).
- Issuance of transaction certificates (TCerts).
- Certificate renewal and revocation.
