Installing the Motherboard
Chapter 5 showed how to install the RAM and processor on your motherboard. Now it’s time to get the motherboard into the case. Of course, before you can just stick the motherboard into the case, you need to configure the case, which includes putting a power supply into it. This chapter helps you perform all three steps so that when you’re done, you have a setup that you can actually test. The system won’t boot yet, but it will make some beeps that will assure you things are working with the motherboard.
