Accessing Wireless Devices
Wireless connectivity is an essential part of computer setups today because it provides so much flexibility and greatly reduces costs. The main sticking point with wired connections is that they require someone to install the wires. Even if you install the cabling yourself (and it’s certainly doable), there is still the cost of the cabling itself. In addition, some settings don’t lend themselves to wired connections. For example, when you rent a building, you don’t want to drill holes through the walls in order to run cables from one room to another. Yes, wired connections also have definite benefits (such as higher connection speeds), but many people today view the problems of wired connectivity as daunting.
