15. Extending Ethereum Tools
In the previous chapter, you saw how the Lity language and virtual machine extends and improves on the Ethereum protocol. The open source Ethereum ecosystem also encourages such platforms to extend and fork existing tools to incorporate new features.
Lity tools include wallets, block explorers, and coding/deployment tools. These tools are customized and configured for each blockchain and are supported by commercial providers, such as Second State (www.SecondState.io).
In this chapter, I will cover Lity-customized tools for the CyberMiles public blockchain. They include the following:
