So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Since IPSec is an Internet layer protocol, it can protect all the protocols in the trans-
port layer and application layer so that those protocols do not have to have their own
protection. e disadvantage of IPSec is that it slows down the network trac. Later
chapters will show how IPSec is used to connect an on-premises network to a virtual
network on a cloud. e advantage of IPSec is that the data communication between
two networks is highly secured.
