So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As the amount of data is growing exponentially, the T-series standards are not able
to meet the needs of today’s data communication. e new standards called Optical
Carrier (OC) have been created for OCs. e data transmission rates in the OC stan-
dards can reach as high as 40 Gbps. e features provided by the commonly used OC
standards are listed in Table 3.4.
