Over the last 30 years I have seen many advances in both the semiconductor industry and in the networking industry, and in many ways these advances are intertwined as network systems are dependent upon the constant evolution of semiconductor technology. For those of you who are interested, I thought I would start by providing you with some background regarding my involvement in the semiconductor and networking industry as it will give you a feel of from where my perspective originates.
